Mirror, mirror on the wall
We adore this bathroom in a lovely house in Primrose Hill, largely because of the antiqued mirror glass done by our very own Rupert Bevan. It’s a traditional focus in an otherwise contemporary room and works beautifully.
At Friends & Co we like to keep people up to date on what we’re doing and what’s new with our clients. To join our mailing list, simply fill in your name and email address.
We promise not to bombard you with nonsense.

Lempi is the universal drinking glass, designed by the celebrated Swedish designer Matti Klenell. Meaning ‘favourite’ in Finnish, Lempi has been created for any occasion, informal or spectacular. Inspired by modern living spaces, this softly rounded, stackable stemware offers generous servings without taking up too much space in a small kitchen.
We’ll be using ours this weekend!
Check out Playtype’s new posters. Pictured here, the A to Z series. We love them.
Skandium’s new shop on Selfridges’ fourth floor will see this delectable shiny desk arriving in-store the next month. Carl Hansen & Søn brings workplace aesthetics to the next level with the CH110 desk by Hans Wegner, which, at around £17,000, is aimed at serious collectors of classics.
The CH100 desk has flawless surfaces of materials such as oak, walnut and leather. The Danish company Georg Jensen assisted with the production of the metal base, and coated the curved legs of steel in 24-karat gold.
“The hand production of a desk like this is about keeping the traditions of good design and excellence in carpentry alive,” says Chrystina Schmidt of Skandium. “Carl Hansen executed the woodwork and its quality is second to none. This sort of carpentry is a dying art.”
Friends & Co is working with the talented creative team at OeO Studio who are helping Japanese textile brand Hosoo expand internationally with the launch of the Novelties Collection at Maison et Objet in Paris this month.

The designs push the boundaries of traditional weaving techniques to create intriguing, sophisticated and aspirational fabrics for both interiors and fashion.
The Hosoo Novelties collection will be exhibiting in Hall 7, Stand K157, at Maison et Objet in Paris, from 20-24 January 2012.
